We are excited to be celebrating our 10th year at the University of Lethbridge! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us grow over the last ten years!
We are a group of women bound by a common goal: to improve the lives of others through community service. Delta Eta Iota is a local sorority, founded in 2008 at the University of Lethbridge by five women who wanted to enrich their lives and serve their community.
What do we do, exactly?
We are founded on five pillars: Leadership, Mentorship, Friendship, Academia, and Charity and we follow them in everything we do. We work to develop valuable leadership skills, provide mentorship opportunities, create life long friendships, improve our individual and group academic standing, all while contributing daily to our school and local community.
Creating friendships and sisterly bonds is of utmost importance to us. However, socialize is not all we do.
In fact, our primary purpose is to come together and serve our campus and our community.
As a group we regularly organize and participate in community events and we consistently volunteer with local community organizations. In addition to community service, our members are united in their commitment to academic success and personal development. We are a diverse organization; Our members represent a huge range of clubs and organizations at the University of Lethbridge, in addition to representing Greek Life.
We strive to strengthen and empower women in society by promoting real beauty and intelligence.
We are individually unique, but together complete, and it is because of this that Delta Eta Iota is perhaps the best way to supplement the standard experience that comes with an undergraduate degree. You are guaranteed a full, well-rounded life as a member of Delta Eta Iota. We are proud of our school, what we stand for, and each one of us is truly honoured to be a member of Delta Eta Iota Sorority.
